Very easy to install, once I downloaded the app on my phone it connected to my wifi and I was up and running. It is easy to control using my phone

Bout this to replace an pro8000. Said it did heat pumps and furnace and could set temperature you want heat pump to kick on at. Not mentioned in the installation or user guide how to do either and no tech support what so ever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lack instructions on how to set it up

This T9 thermostat only comes with the Installation Guide. It does not come with operation and programming guide. The installation guide does not even mention I need to have an app on my mobile device or which app should I download. I need to call the help line to know I need the Honeywell Home app and all the programming steps are done with the app. Although this thermostat can run alone without the app, the clock on T9 will stop working if I have a power outage and make this thermostat useless. If I had T9 connected to the internet thru WiFi with installing the app, the clock will set to London in UK and I cannot change the time zone.

Super hard and confusing. Can’t control once I leave the two mile range and others are home, they are texting its to Hot/cold or having to go to the hallway and manually change. It bases everything on the NARROW hallway which is hotter because of its size so all other rooms are cold/hot!! So to control them better we have to PAY for sensors for each room!! Feel like the thing is running ALL the time, I’m always on my phone changing it to shut it off!!

It's been a huge disappointment! It hasn't helped one bit with the distribution of heat in my house - l now have to use space heaters. l had the T9 professionally installed -- wish l could return it.

the installation was crap
and could find no held on the internet
and couldn't contact support
ended up doing the wiring a little different than what the instructions to get it working
