T9's Provide Superior HVAC Control and Remote Acce

We recently installed three T9's in our zoned, forced air, systems. They allow us much better control over our heating and A/C, and we use the remote sensors to better control the temperature in our upstairs bedrooms. The remote web interface allows us to monitor the conditions and dial in changes while we are away.

This device connected to my existing hvac system easily. But the WiFi would not connect. Even though the phone app and thermostat connected to my WiFi, they would not connect with each other. Tech support could not solve my problem, but did give me a hint that the thermostat needs to be on 2.4 ghz, not 5.0 ghz. I found a web forum that explained how to set up a guest WiFi login on my ATT system, and then connect the thermostat to it. That finally worked and the system works pretty well. I was disappointed that tech support could not quickly diagnose this issue and guide me through the solution. I wasted a lot of time figuring it out myself.
