First off, let me say I've been a longtime user of another well known thermostat that I had grown to appreciate. However, something went wrong in the programming, forcing me to change to a T9 that gave me sensor options. It helps average out my house from the East end to the West end without causing cold spots in the house because the main stat is in the hallway. That being said, I know it runs the furnace more, and for shorter cycles than I am used to. The app responsiveness when changing the settings is very quick. The app, however, has some quirks. First, the biofinger login fails most often making you enter in the pin number to access the thermostat. Second, the fan only has 3 settings and does not allow you to run it for specified amounts of time, like my old (other brand) did. Thirdly, I set it up originally for GeoFencing, but it just keeps those temp set points active all the time, So I set up a schedule instead. However, the GeoFence still activates and alerts me...sporadically, only if I have used the app within the past day. Instructions tell you that the thermostat cannot geofence and run a schedule, unlike the (other brand).
I also do not like that it cannot sense you walk by it, unlike the (other brand). In order to do this, you must purchase a remote sensor and add it next to the main thermostat.
Lastly, Honeywell does not include a wall plate in the package to cover old marks/holes from other thermostat configurations. For the price, this should be included in my opinion.
One thing I do like is the ability to choose Priority of one sensor over another to focus on a certain room/area to heat or cool.
I also do not like that it cannot sense you walk by it, unlike the (other brand). In order to do this, you must purchase a remote sensor and add it next to the main thermostat.

Great thermostat. Averaging sensors are very helpful for efficient heating in a 3 story house during turn winter. Bedroom sensors and nighttime schedule = less runtime for furnace.
