seems like more of just a programmable thermostat. I'm trying to figure out how exactly this will save us time and money but I just can't. Maybe my heating system is just too old but after all the effort in the installation, its just a thermostat that turns off at night. Sometimes when the house is empty in the daytime it keeps the heat off, but I'm not convinced the geofencing works consistently
Device is easy to set up, wire and physically install. Looks great. The app is simple and intuitive. The technical support was also very good when i need to consider which wiring option, they walked me through my specific wiring, and even how to test voltage etc to be sure. Love it. One small critique, the daily graph only shows the total number of hours per day which is redundant (no new information) vs the weekly graph (also shows hours per day). The daily graph i would think, would have a smaller increment like minutes per hour during the day. As it is the daily graph is useless. But really i don't need the hourly graph anyway and the other graphs are all anyone would need.
Replaced my nest thermostat because it was giving me non-stop issues with its connection to the app. Honeywell has outperformed the nest in every way possible
This is the gadget you never knew you needed, it does what it’s supposed to do. The only issues I’ve found with it is during the initial setup my country wasn’t listed so had to use my old address from another country, which is no big deal really until you see the wrong weather forecast on the display (insert slaps face emoji here). Also the App tends to log me out randomly hasn’t happened in a week do hopefully setting up the security pin sorted that. Overall I’m happy with my T9.
