Doesn’t connect to my eeros mesh network. Only one shows up in the Ring app and “Works with Ring” is misleading. Ring shows a temperature, you still need their garbage app and another username and password from them. Honeywell smart thermostats are now some French company with garbage customer service. The app doesn’t show the room sensor temps. Even though the T9 replaced other Honeywell thermostats, it is a different size so the holes and marks on the wall aren’t covered up the same. Standardized thermostat sizes would go a long way. Features in the app don’t work well and are not easy to use. Don’t buy one of these
The thermostat doesn't allow us to modify a set schedule. We have tried to do it through both the wall interface and the app. After a couple of minutes it just reverts back to the set schedule even though we are telling it to hold until the next scheduled time.
Overall a nice design but with some flaws. Maintaining WiFi connectivity seems to be a problem across the three units I purchased. I even returned one to the store I bought it from only to find the new one had the same issue. I created a dedicated network just for the thermostats and this helped a little. Until it happened again and I had to reset everything, thermostats and router/modem.
The app is good, but does not offer some of the same functionality of the competitor models. IFTTT comparability is ok, not overly user friendly and the Toal Connect 2.0 app seems to be better integrated than Honeywell Home. Unfortunately, you can’t use Total Connect 2.0 with these thermostats and not have the other products etc. the Resideo app is also VERY limited. It would be really nice to have Apple Homelit integration like some of your previous models.
It’s a “smart” thermostat that doesn’t particularly learn a lot, at least not as I have seen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We built a new home and I changed the dumb thermostat that the HVAC company put in to 3 - T9 with sensors. The app is getting worse and worse. Geofencing was sketchy but seems to be working a little better. Now when you change the temp on the app, about 10 seconds later it changes back to the old temp. I was a long time Nest customer and think I made a mistake going Honeywell. Reviews were good but reality is a different tune. Wish they would buy them back.
The app does not keep the link to the location outdoor weather. Also, the humidity reading on the thermostat and sensor read about 10% higher than a separate set of humidity readers I have. I have 2 different manufacturer sensors that both are consistent with each other but Honeywell reads much higher.

defective product and unhelpful help desk

There is a problem with the thermometer on this thermostat - sometimes when I set it to 24C I notice it getting really really cold so I manually turn the system off. Immediately, the thermostat display drops to 22C! It's like the thermometer sensor doesn't communicate with the thermostat to tell it to shut off so it keeps running or, it just doesn't update close enough to "real time". This is a problem but the bigger problem has been the completely unhelpful help line. I took the time to document what was happening and go through problem solving with an online chat. I followed up with the trouble shooting steps suggested but did not gain any more info as a result. This is a defective product and after another hour on the phone (after waiting on hold for some time too, of course) was no further ahead. It should be replaced but I've given up and will cut my losses and get another one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had high hopes for this thermostat. I like the simple screen-bright and easy to see. Intallation was a breeze. After a week of use I discovered the usage data is always 48 hours behind, an annoyance at the least. More than that, the temperature swing is set sooo narrow that it causes my furnace to short cycle. My guess is that it's .5 degrees, and there is no adjustment. My previous thermostat was adjustable, and set at 1 degree and did not short cycle. I also noticed a strange quirk. If the setpoint is 68 and the system is idle, the temperature shows 68 degrees. If I bump it up to 69, the displayed temperature changes to 69 within about 10 seconds-BEFORE the burner even lights. How can that be? Needless to say, this one will be returned and replaced with a Nest.
Solid design, works well, keeps temperature consistent. The kit and instructions are thorough. Had to hook up a third wire from the other leg of the transformer at the boiler.
VERY small, had to repaint the wall to match the size of the 1980s Honeywell round thermostat since it’s in that size range and there’s no backplate. Good humidity, remote and adjustability for offsets. Can read the weather outside but the size is tiny.
Is there any way to make the outdoor temp and weather larger?
