I have had 3 Nest thermostats go bad in the last 3 years so decided it was time to give up on the "cool stuff that breaks" and go back to Honeywell, which always just works. Less bells and whistles than the Nest but I found I didn't use most of those features in the real world anyway. The T9 features are straight forward and the app very easy to use, allowing us control while away. I love that the outdoor temp is displayed right on the screen. Very easy install -- was up and running in about 10 minutes. Love it so far!

Easy to install, don’t be intimidated by the packaging with the extra adapter. If you already have a modern digital thermostat, most likely this thermostat will be simple to install. Watch a YouTube video it really helps.

It's a thermostat-- Just work!!--How hard is that?

It's not even a year old and it's the middle of the night. It is 18 degrees F outside and this t-stat decides not to. Great no heat! Why? --because it is a crappy product. Oh yah no customer support, an added bonus.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
