Liking the Honeywell T9. Installation was ok, I needed to run new wire that included the C-Wire, I chose to not use the included adapter. At times the thermostat screen, Alexa and the SmartPhone App temperature will differ by a degree. No big deal for me, but something to note for others, Also in order to get both my new Honeywell T9 thermostats to be seen by Alexa, I needed to disable the skill, and re-start it... Everything else I tried, didn't help. All is good now though. If I ever need a third, I would go with the T9.
We bought 7 T9 units for a second home in mountains. House has in-floor hot water heat which can take up to 10 hours to get to temperature. We did not purchase room sensors because it takes so long to change temperature in each room. Installation was easy after we identified C wire connections at each zone valve controls. The new T9s allow us to set temperatures prior to our arrival. I also set the min/max temp so I can control energy costs. We also recently installed the Honeywell security system and the same phone app allows the control of T9s with no problems at all. Our kids and their families use same app for security and heat control. A nice to have would be ability to control T9s from Honeywell security panel too.
Enjoyable and Handy, you can set it to know when your approaching the house, with that it raises the temp so when you arrive the heat or Air is already on. The additional sensors can be set to know what room your in and the unit will make that room the temp you set. when you leave the room it knows and then makes the main unit the default temp again. Easy to use and adjust.

This is a great thermostat and with the remote sensors, it is very flexible. I have the main unit in my family room, remote sensors in each bedroom, in my attic, and one in my crawl space. I’m able to select which sensors drive the HVAC and which to ignore. The user interface is useable, but to check on my attic or crawl space temps and humidity, I need to click the thermostat, then click settings, then click devices and sensors every time I want to check a specific remote sensor. With the Ring integration, I can change the temperature, but I can’t check any specifics at all.
Thermostat works as it should. Only problem is there is no trim plate available for this unit. Im using a different honeywell trim that does not look good
My favorite smart thermostat. We place the sensor in my sons room to keep his space comfortable while he sleeps. This has greatly improved the temperature stability in his room. I highly recommend this product
