Two T9’s and link to Ring app!

Installed two of the T9’s. One downstairs but the unit is in the hallway. I installed 2 of the remote sensors in the family room and the kitchen and set those as active and ignore the T9 itself and has been working great! The other in the master bedroom with no remote sensors and both are linked to the Ring app as a bonus! Highly recommend!

Works great! Love the app for interaction away from wall thermostat. Also love that I can create a schedule and if I want to change temperature for a brief time I can make the change and set time that I want the change to end. Lots of features!

It’s easy to install and the sensor make it nice to put out in the garage. My garage is divided with a wall so I can set the temperature for the side that I’m on.

Local API without need for cloud would be better

App on IOS requires you to entree a pin twice on app load. Cannot access data on thermostat via app if your internet connection gets interrupted.

Room for improvement

The T9 was purchased because it was not round like the other brand but still a wifi thermostat.
I had problems getting the app to configure and link to the thermostat but after 3 tries it magically worked. Each failed attempt would find the thermostat but then fail to establish the link. Now, it loses internet connection frequently. It takes several minutes to update the setting when using the app and sometimes it doesn't work. When I use Alexa to set the temp, sometimes it ignores the setting. I've seen it call for heat even though the temperature displayed was above the setpoint for heat. If it continues to be buggy I may buy the round thermostat to replace the T9.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice thermostats

We have 3, 1 in our house, 2 in a event barn. The house thermostat has worked flawlessly since day 1. The 2 in the event barn have had internet connectivity problems, maybe because I'm using a Hotspot. But both are working well now, nice to have all 3 thermostats in 1 app to control. All 3 are used on Heat pump units and had to use the c wire adapters on 2 of them. Everything worked like it should.

The main improvement is that I'd prefer the indoor humidity to be displayed on the home screen. It takes one tap to see the information. Otherwise, I have no regrets on the purchase
