Its okay compared to EcoBee. I prefer the features and layout of Ecobee. Honeywell seems to lack some basic features. Mainly in setting the allowabe diffences from room-to-room that have sensors.

Comfort at night, and peace of mind

The main feature we bought the T9 for was it's remote sensor capability. Having remote sensors solves the problem of the temperature differences between the first and second floors of a two story home that only has only one HVAC zone, especially at night on extremely hot summer days or very cold winter nights. Either case results in a very warm second floor. We put a remote sensor in the master bedroom and have the program schedule monitor the master bedroom at night in both summer and winter. The prgramming is also very easy to navigate and much easier to set up than our previous thermostat. Monitoring the temperature of the house from our phones was important to us because we are out of town a lot in the winter. We have it notifying us if the temperature in the house deops below 65 degrees. No more need to ask someone to go check on the house.

Easy to install as long as you follow the instructions. Working well with our 8 year old Heat Pump. We especially like the remote sensor feature as we had been wanting to move the main thermostat sensor to a different location. This made this improvement very easy. The interface on the thermostat as well as the app is nice. So far so good.

I replaced a previous Honeywell smart thermostat with the T9. The old one worked fine, but I changed my wireless router from a 2.4 to a 5 GB version to increase the signal coverage. The old version did not work on 5 GB, so I replaced it with the T9. I changed it out myself with the very well written instructions. It works well and has new features that I use. Geofencing helps keep my energy usage down and I can see the humidity from my phone. The touchpad is much more user friendly and the reset function is much easier. I had to call to get help resetting the connection because it was not at all easy to accomplish.
