Display is terrible, unreadable, too bright

The sensors, notifications, etc. are all nice but the display ruins the product completely.
The font is TOO THIN. I'm tired of all these tech companies using these "modern" thin fonts. You can't read the thermostat unless you walk up close to it.
And the white background?! Why?!! It's too bright! Even with the brightness turned down to 10%, it's an eye sore in a dark room. And again.. since its unreadable, it's just a white box. Completely pointless.
I'll be downgrading back to my wifi color thermostat, which had a pleasant thick white font on a dark blue background. Even though the font was much smaller, it was thicker, and could be read from across the room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Contractor couldnt install it. Said he didnt know what was wrong, maybe needed some electrical work to be done

it has disrupted EVERYTHING in our home...nothing works right now and the temperature is way off....it comes on and goes off several times an hour! not happy

You KNOW the issues. Having to use a hot spot on a phone and a separate tablet to register them. Have a T9 LYRIC thermostat that does NOT interface with the LYRIC security system. You all need to get it together! Pathetic and sad!

Great idea, poor performance

Installed unit, great directions, easy to program once linked to my phone. BUT..
Doesn’t turn on the heat in the morning at the programmed time. And there is no override to manually turn on your furnace
This unit will be returned
