I was looking for a thermostat which was capable of having another portable thermostat I can move around the house. My wall-attached one is located next to my xmas tree which gave it a false reading of the actual room temperature. Since installing this along with the portable thermostat the room ambient temp is much more consistant.

I've had this item for just about a month now and so far I like it. I like the look overall over the other smart T-Stat out there. The app could be better and should offer more options. The app tends to freeze up and I would have to exit it out of it to reuse the app (I use the Galaxy Z flip 3). The t-stat itself stays on all the time and I would like to have the ability to dim the screen or turn it off completely when not in use, like it should turn on when you walk by it. It would also be nice if as part of a schedule you could have the t-stat turn off the hvac when needed, like in away mode. I don't currently see how I can do that. Overall I do recommend, its simple to install but could be a bit more intuitive

great product. customer svc painfully slow to get thru (think put phone on speaker and wait 45 sort of slow). Took 3 times and patience. Once on it, all good (and this was pre holiday stupidity). Highy reccomend. DIY project with one remote. Ties to wifi and android.

Setup was fairly easy. It took a couple of try’s to connect to my Wi-Fi network. Easy to setup a schedule using the app. Wish the display and app had an indicator that said Heat/Cool on like the T4 thermostat. This one’s background color changes to orange or blue when operating. Did not have a wall mount plate included. I have not tried using geofencing or the room sensor.

It was easy to use, that's #1, but it is also easy to see. The bright backlight is excellent. It also easy to read and the selections make sense. Last, but not least, it works!

The thermostat works fine but the app for control needs some serious work. The geofencing fails to work properly sometimes. I have also had the thermostat get stuck in away mode a few times even though the app geofencing says home. The only fix was to restart the thermostat.

I installed this thermostat to replace an American Standard ACONT624A thermostat which controls a 2 stage AC and 2 stage gas heat. It was very easy to install. It you have a multi-stage system you will need to go into the configuration menu to advanced setup and set the number of stages you have for AC and heat. I also installed one sensor on the other side of our home which helps with detect and direct the desired range of temps. Very easy to operate. Works well for us.
