As a longtime Honeywell Thermostat devotee, I really looked forward to installing the T9. Unfortunately, the poor instructions and non-existent technical detail made it difficult. App is nice idea, but poorly executed. Software link drops out.

Caused issues where a T6 was working flawlessly

Doesn’t work as expected. Wanted to replace my T6 Pro with the T9. They use the same wall plate. I bought 3 T9 for my system. When installing the T9 I didn’t have to change the cabling . Issue was the T9 must work different than the T6 because it ran with fan permanently on and I couldn’t select the cooling mode. Tried to reach support via chat and phone. Never got through. Put back T6 and everything was working again. Sent the T9 back. Bad product and bad customer service.

It’s working well. You need a wire C or an external power supply 24VAC 500 mA.
It’s not Mysa but close.
Consommation details are really basic. Just number of hour work during the day. I wish we have details like temperature on graph by hours.

It has all the features it needs to, but where they place it within the menu system needs massive improvement. I do not like that you cannot change the gap between when it turns on and even when emergency heat turns on. It is pre-programmed and not changeable, boo hiss.
What absolutely sucks is the app. It's nothing more than a glorified temperature changer. You can't do much of anything else on it. Seriously? It's 2023. Get with it! If you are nowhere near your house, good luck, because you can't change anything. The point of an app is so you can be 100 miles away 200 mi away and change things. So if you have a vacation home this is not the thermostat you want. Forget it.

Not smart enough

This device is not smart enough. Only reason I purchased it because my system has a 'K' wire and Google thermostat (which is truly smart) wasn't compatible and Nest Pro person was charging me fortune to get the wiring fixed. Also, I just had to replace my non-smart manual Honeywell thermostat with T9 keeping the same base plate. Initially I thought I found Google's rival but alas.
First of all, the screen remains ON all the time. There is no way you can turn it off. Next, added my spouse as another user but if I leave the house it doesn't recognize that my spouse is still home and goes into 'away' mode. Next, for unknown reasons app can't show HVAC runtime for last 3 days. Lastly, I cannot run the fan to circulate the air. It runs only when system is running. App has the setting to keep fan on circulate or ON mode but it doesn't work.
So please don't call it a smart thermostat rather call it WiFi thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The t9 pro is the way go if u are buying a thermostat that can do multi room sensing. It is extremely easy to set up and the included adapter can even get older systems with no remote power wires up and running. It is reliable and extremely easy to program, syncing extra room sensors are a breeze also.

I thought the sensors that you put in the room we’re going to help adjust the temperature with the heater but it just tells you the temperature. It’s OK nothing special
