Not at all happy with this thermostat. It constantly looses connection with wifi, had a difficult time getting it to follow the schedule and don't find it to be very user friendly.

Wiring was a bit tricky because the adapter was required for my application, instructions were good but could be made a bit more user friendly. Wiring at furnace was more challenging that at the thermostat.

Display visibility problems mounted at 50" and my height is 6'4". Display looks better viewed straight on and looks bad looking down on it. Documentation improvements needed. The wire expander at furnace end was exactly what was needed. It has enough flexibility built in to make it work no matter what. It is hard to get the device rear cover off in order to correct wire arrangement. Honeywell is such an interesting company. They should get more involved in standards creation.

Very easy to install and remote operations is a breeze and so efficient. We have 3 in two properties and love the remote sensor in one property where the lower floor temperatures are always 10-15 degrees different. I wish we had installed them years ago.

I got this because it doesn’t change model every year, I am an IT professional, I don’t need anything fancy that cost me extra every year. This thermostat have everything I needed. Hopefully it doesn’t break in future.
