If with 3 changes I think this would be a great thermostat.
1. Ability to have it dim even more and we're not in use. The minimum of 10% seems to still be much brighter than 10%. I understand that I could have it turn off, but I want to always be able to just glance over and see the temperature.
2. Display the indoor humidity all the time so I could just walk by and see it.
3. Show the temperature of the remote sensors on the main screen so I don't have to dig through menus to find it.
Other than those 3 items it's been a good thermostat for us. It is reasonably easy to install and much easier to set up than our last Wi-Fi thermostat.
The thermostat is great, I was hoping for the remote sensor to work better. I installed the remote sensor in the Master Bedroom thinking it would maintain the set temperature in that room. I have the motion detection off because I wanted it to maintain the temperature in the bedroom as it is the only room in the area that is used. It does not maintain it as I would like.
We've had this thermostat installed for approximately a month now, and the best feature it has is the lock feature. The setup and connectivity is sketchy. The process is simple, and maybe it was the security on my WIFI but it took several try's to connect and set up. Other than the initial setup, it is a highly programable thermostat. It will take some time to figure out if it causes my unit to run more efficiently as the sensors attached have significantly different readings.
This is a very nice and aesthetically modern looking Thermostat (T9). One of my biggest frustrations is with the remote temp sensors. I have full signal strength but does not stay connected. I am running firmware ver 1.0.6.0 (sensor model 1100). I would give 5 stars otherwise. The App works really well and is easy to navigate. And to be fair I may be doing something wrong with the remote sensors too.
I tried all the fancy Google thermostats. All kinds of issues. The T9 just works. Reliable WiFi connection. Schedules. Room sensors. App is decent and I can still connect to Google Home. Definitely recommend.
The T9 thermostat is working well. I could have given more stars for the unit itself but the Android apps "Honeywell Home" stops me from doing it. It is not user-friendly and not much settings i can do through the app. The worst is the first screen which shows the current temperature with huge font size but with TINY font size for the preset-temperature. I have to wear my reading glasses everytime if I want to override the preset. It is difficult to distinguish between ##.0 and ##.5. The difference between Huge and Tiny font size is totally unnecessary. Please see attached picture (1:1 scale)
