Beautiful clean display, user friendly app, easy to follow instructions. Wifi and app connectivity is a breeze. The thermostat found my home wifi and app within seconds and I’m using an Orbi mesh network with auto 2.5 and 5g bandwidth. I really like the on screen keyboard for typing your wifi password. It’s very responsive similar to an iPad or iPhone. I setup four thermostats for two HVAC units in my house each with two zones (dampers). Having control of all four thermostats from one app is a game changer. Just keep in mind that you will need to spackel and paint since these units have a vertical display. Tip: if you find that you don’t have a c-wire hooked up, first check for extra unused wires in the wall. If you have them, go to the hvac unit and connect one of the unused wires to the c terminal and bingo that color wire is now your c wire. I had to figure this out and it was super easy. Don’t forget to synch it up with your Alexa so you can yell at her to turn down the A/C in the kitchen :)

The install process took some time because I had to attach a wire to the AC unit and also attach that same wire to the back of the control unit. I a happy with my purchase and the Thermostat works great!

Easy to install and setup. I replaced an old programmable Honeywell thermostat that had a bad button it it 10 years old so no WiFi or tech. I personally see little benefit from the old thermostat. For 3 times the cost this tech is overpriced. Not seeing any utility savings, remote sensors in a single story home just add cost, no comfort or saving benefit if your AC is balanced properly. In hindsight I would have just bought another programmable thermostat for 1/3 the cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
