Cannot connect to WiFi. Was connected for a day, then lost connection and would not even show local WiFi networks. Customer service wanted me to send it to them then they would try and install new firmware. Then they would mail it back and then I would reinstall it. And then hopefully it would work. Did not want to wait a month to try that. Returned it and bought another thermostat from another company that connected to my WiFi just fine.
Themostat is fine, geofence on phone is cumbersome

The thermostat works great and was easy to follow instructions using the c-wire adapter for my older thermostat with a different style wiring. Geofence is a really cool feature, however there are several significant hurdles even tech savvy people will struggle to get through, even Resideo technical support was wrong about how to set up accounts on multiple users for same geofence'd location. Once the accounts are setup properly, several setting changes need to be made on phone(s) to get app to work in background (power saving settings, location and data background settings, & app sleep settings all need to be modified. No instructions for doing thing, users have to search it online. I have it all working well now, but it was a long, time consuming, and frustrating process.

Why would I want to Buy a T9 smart thermostat when my T5 does not work on WiFi? This is after Emailing with no reply to my problem and calling Support waiting for hours Doing What they suggested. The only response is always to try the setup procedure again later. Also I can't find the exact model number on the website. The good thing it works ok on manual adjustment mode.
Prior to this thermostat we had a nest. Programming was so easy and effortless. We have found since switching thermostats that our air conditioner works better and is much more efficient. Honestly the programming is simply dummie proof and the app works well. Great job.
