This is an awesome addition to our house. We are currently rebuilding the HVAC system so we upgraded to this thermostat & we couldn’t be happier.
For starters, you can control it using WiFi & the app on your phone. Unlike the “Nest” unit, it has a adjust and lock option to where you can set it and forget it. But if you like your thermostat constantly adjusting the temp for you? It does come equipped with a Geofencing option.
The install & set up was straight forward, I had to call customer support to add the stage 1 cooling system to the modes, but they walked me through with no problems.
The sensors are amazing! Now, we can automatically set it to read the bedroom sensor while we are in there sleeping, & it goes off of that temperature instead of where the thermostat is located.
Overall this is a great piece of equipment, a little pricey but well worth it once you get it all set up and running. Last, when I wrote this review? We were in the process of rebuilding our home & Cant get the full potential out of this because we have so much opened in the home. Subflooring off, walls torn down ect. But I can only imagine the quality once we are completely done here.
If you are expecting it to work with Alexa? It only works with the Alexa app on my phone, I can’t use the Alexa Device to tell it to change the temp. But it will work if I ask Alexa to change the temp on my phone.

Easy set up, simple operation, and intuitive interface. Mobile app is somewhat lacking, but I don’t consider that a part of this specific product.

Better than nest

The Honeywell T9 keeps the temperature in the house very comfortable. The T9 replaced a nest thermostat that wouldn't maintain a constant temperature. So far I'm very satisfied with the Honeywell T9 thermostat.

Great but could be better

Overall great product. I do have two issues: I have not found a way on the Internet to control the thermostat (I can do it on their App but not on my desktop computer). And it does not have hourly run times (I guess they send monthly reports). My old smart thermostat had this feature (hourly run times) and I miss it

I'm digging it at the moment. I have crazy work schedule so I'm not using any scheduling. But it's nice to be able to set heat and cool levels without choosing one or the other and even nicer to wake and turn the heat up before getting out of bed!
