Works fine with thermostat and app, not with Alexa

I have 2 thermostats. One gives the correct temperature with Alexa and Google Home, the other does not. IFTTT programming minimal to non-existent. Cannot change the mode (permanent hold, hold, schedule) via voice commands in Alexa or Google Home or IFTTT. Speaks Google a lot better than Alexa. Support is great, but if basic things are missing. Not even sure where the "official" list of commands is.
Great experience so far. I love having the convenience to change thermostat from my phone and with the sensors I feel like it gives me a more balanced home. No regrets but I do wish their was more data options in the app. The T9 was easy to install and basically just required me to shut off HVAC and swap out the old with the new. I did have to drill some holes for the drywall anchors but I used some spackle to over up the old thermostats holes. The device connected no problem with my Note 9 phone although I did have initial setup issues on my other phone (iPhone SE 2020).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice thermostat, 2 upgrades would make it amazing

It is easy to setup and the remote thermostat is great. We are able to have the thermostat work for the room we are in; where before in that room with our old thermostat it would wait too long to turn on the A/C and then run it so long that it got too cold.
The two things they could add to make it perfect would be to show, on the sleep screen, what temperature it is currently set to. It shows the current temp and what the forecast shows for outside but not what temp you have it set at. The other thing is, my 20 year old thermostat would tell me, at the touch of a button, how long it had run on the current day, the day before and since installed. This made it really easy to see how small changes to the temperature setting affected the run time of the A/C. Quickly showing if running it 1 degree cooler was going to add hours to the run time or not.
Thermostat works well. Programming easy using the app. Geofencing feature is a disaster. With the feature on the app drains your phone battery, even when home the thermostat thinks I am away and needs to be overridden, and when I leave but my wife is still home it shuts the air off, even though we both have the app and are both on the account and using geofencing.
Finally...a smart thermostat that is user friendly

We bought two of these thermostats, one for upstairs and one for down. Our previous thermostats would fight each other and our bedrooms would never heat/cool properly. Now we have sensors in bedrooms and we can finally enjoy a comfortable night's sleep. Furthermore, the programmable schedules will save us a bunch on our energy costs when we're not home and was much more self explanatory than many non-smart thermostats. Installation was quick and easy, as was setting up each thermostat to our wifi and the Honeywell app. Bonus...it also works with our Alexa and the Ring app. Unfortunately...the Ring app only appears to support one thermostat at this time. If you have more than one unit in your home, you will have to pick a favorite. No worries...the Honeywell app works fine with both units and I am a happy customer.
