Instructions were scare but we eventually found more online.
Took a while to get it programmed correctly. It kept coming on too early until I figured out there was a setting where you can set it for the time you want it to be at a certain temp and it will come on when it thinks it needs to start up to get to that temp by that time.
Had to reset several times in set up as it first found the furnace and started it but the furnace kept turning off. Also didn't find the AC. Rebooted several times. Then found a loose wire on our furnace/AC combo and it worked after we corrected that. So it wasn't problem with the thermostat.
We're retired and babysit sometimes, so no decent schedule or pattern of living for the thermostat to learn but we did get additional sensors so we can keep the nighttime temp down to keep our bedroom as cool as we want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to install. Also nice that it has the adaptor in case you don't have a "hot" wire from old thermostat.

This new smart thermostat is working great for me with my busy working schedule. The Geo fence feature is great for automatically "knowing" when I am coming and going.

quick and easy install .. great to be able to see the difference between the thermostat located in the dining room and a remote sensor installed in the bedroom .. even better to be able to prioritize the bedroom for a much more comfortable night's sleep .. also great to now have auto changeover between heat and cool and wifi access

This thermostat is easy to control using the phone app. However, if there was someone in the house that does not have a smart phone and the app, they are unable to adjust temperatures using the wall unit.
