A great thermostat with so-so owner's manual

I really like this thermostat (I have four - for zoned radiant in-floor heat)! It was very easy to install (given that all existing thermostat wiring did have the required C-wire). Also very easy to set up, but..... the user's manual didn't mention most of the settings available from the on-screen menu. For example, 3 of the 4 thermostats I installed are in bedrooms, so screen brightness at night is an issue. The owner's manual didn't mention that it could be dimmed (permanently or on a schedule) - but a little Googling solved that problem. It turns out even 10% brightness is too bright (the increments are 10%), so I have the bedroom thermostats programmed to go to 0% during sleeping hours.
For all 4 thermostats I installed a remote sensor in a second room (part of the same zone) which greatly improves the temperature control (provided I select the appropriate priority zone(s)).
The associated app works really well, in my experience, and integrates easily with Google Home. Also, by having the C-wire, I no longer need to replace thermostat batteries!
Overall, I'm very satisfied.

Love the thermostat, easy to set up accurate and easy to control with the app but the Geofencing is less than reliable. Works about 25 to 30% of the time bringing into question it's real benefit for efficiency.
