EXCELLENT QUALITY

I’ve had my refrigerator for nearly two weeks and absolutely “love it.” The counter depth is perfect for me and I am amazed at how spacious it is inside. I really like the three drawers inside, some models I looked at only had two. I like the adjustable shelves and they also slide out...what a bonus! You will NOT be disappointed with this fridge, I have no complaints of noise or anything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second GE Refrigerator

This is my second GE Refrigerator. The previous one was 21 years old and I was sorry to see it go. My new refrigerator is a dream. It is counter depth ( my former was not) so it fits smoothly into the space. It has a great look and fits in with any kitchen decor. It is so quiet that I have to really listen to ensure that it is working. The shelves are easy to remove and re-position. The inside lights are bright and you can see all items in the refrigerator. The controls for water, and ice are clearly marked and the drip tray is easy to remove and clean. I also like that I can access the temperature for the freezer and refrigerator. The freezer's shelves and baskets are easy to access and hold quite a lot. Again, the lights are bright and make it easy to see what is in the freezer. All in all a very good product.

Bizarrely Noisy and coats inside with frost

More noise than any fridge I ever owned! The attached sound files were made with my smart-phone without an external microphone, just the onboard mic. The GE manual Manual describes 4 noises you might hear one of which is called “Whir” and shows a fan blade. It says you may hear this when you’ve added a lot of food or had the doors open a lot. Mine does it without these events at completely random time, for 3 to 5 minutes. I have a great room and when I’m in my recliner 13 feet away and it does this I have to turn the TV sound from 35 to 90 and I can still hear it. I can hear it 35 feet away in the front bedroom I use for an office. When it does this it also coats he shelves and food with ice crystals like you see on a windshield in winter. Pics attached. Bizarre. Also the doors make a “sproing” sound when opened that the display units at Lowes do not do. Kind of like a piece of metal catches and then springs loose as the doors are opened. This site won't let me attach sound files.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
