I replaced my 17 year old GE Profile Arctica with this new fridge, I opted for the counter depth side by side in stainless steel which is so different than the top freezer but due to space constraints in my kitchen, there wasn’t a big choice. I love the smaller footprint, I know it’s only a few inches but my kitchen feels so much roomier. The water and ice in the door is great, the door alarm is what really makes this an even better product though. It runs pretty quiet and I’m very pleased with my purchase.

Great except for the handles

This is a great fridge. Stays consistent with the temperature and holds more than you would think. The freezer is a little tight but it keeps you from losing those wrapped packages of meat that end up giant bricks of ice that have to be thrown out. The only issue I have is the fingerprint magnet handles. The fridge's attributes outweigh it's slights so it's worth it.

Front material is very thin, dents and scratches very easy. Water drips from the door where the ice/water dispenser is on the outside. I have only had the fridge for about a month and it has done this from the beginning. Currently, I do not have the water line hooked up. The fridge was very quiet for the first few weeks, yesterday it started making a strange semi loud noise. I thought GE made quality, long lasting products, but I guess they have changed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I went to several stores in the area (4) and researched on-line and this side-by-side was exactly what I wanted. I purchased it at Best Buy, and it truly was the best buy. It fits perfectly in my small kitchen, yet it is actually quite roomy. I know GE is an excellent product and I am sure I will continue happy I chose this refrigerator.

Good looking appliance with nice through the door water and ice. Unit is not noisy and is cooling down nicely. Like the adjustable shelves and LED lighting.
