Counter depth

Prefer and really like the side by side. We seamlessly downsized capacity (to counter depth), however the freezer is noticeably smaller in size compare to our previous non GE refrigerator. Very bright internally and noise free appliance. We are very pleased with it and highly recommend it. This is our second refrigerator from GE. Our second home has a full size GE refrigerator bought 7 or more years ago.

Even though it is counter-depth, there is plenty of space for everything! I like the adjustable shelves and the lighting is nice too.

This is the second one I have owned only because I moved and left the first and it’s excellent. Great basic fridge and looks good in the kitchen.

A decent appliance however…

It’s a decent appliance, however it seems the freezer does not seal well. Condensation freezes on the walls. The crushed ice does not work. The accumulating drip of water is as I have to wipe it out several times a day. This may just be a lemon but I wouldn’t recommend this particular unit. FYI, this was part of a package provided by the builder. I didn’t choose these myself.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser on your refrigerator after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. This can also happen after crushed ice is dispensed.
