PROBLEM WITH REPLACING ICE/WATER FILTER

I TRIED CHANGING THE WATER/ICE FILTER, FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE MANUAL, BUT IT STILL GIVES ME AN ERROR CODE. WHO DO I CALL GIVEN IT IS UNDER MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY.

Very Nice ~ We Love the Slate Look!

So far so good! I bought this fridge on sale a couple of years ago but never installed it--we've been waiting for our 29 year old Amana to die, and she finally did a few days ago. We brought this in and installed. Easy to do. Nice and quiet. And looks so lovely! We have the slate finish--I don't know why this isn't catching on more--I love the look, and now are inspired to move forward with our remodel.

Why can't things be like they use to

The crushed ice maker does not work, only worked for a minute and now all the ice come out as cubes.

We recommend resetting your refrigerator by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function and allow for crushed ice, this will require service by a qualified technician. I wasn’t sure about a side by side but it’s amazing! So much space in the door and the inside. Much easier to organize. The freezer has plenty of room. I can clearly see what’s in my freezer vs the bottom freezer I had previously. Quiet, sleek and fits perfect. Highly recommend!

Excellent Refrigerator

We had purchased a complete set of Fridgidaire appliances (stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator). After just 3 years, the refrigerator failed and needed a thousand dollar repair. After doing a lot of research, we opted to replace the Fridgidaire refrigerator with a GE. This was bar far the best decision regarding a major appliance we ever made. The GE has been very quiet, performs admirably in keeping things cold, and is more aesthetic in the kitchen. We are very pleased and would highly recommend GE appliances to everyone.
