Nice design

I replaced a 25-year-old GE Profile refrigerator with this one. It's running great, (I've only just installed it) but it is a beautiful refrigerator and a definite upgrade from the old one. I stayed with a GE appliance because of my luck with GE in the past.

A true bargain.

Great product. Looks good sitting in its alcove. Almost looks like a custom install. Efficient space layout as possible for a side by side. Doors are solid and shut and seal nicely. Stainless color is good and matches other appliances. Not easily smudged with fingerprints. This replaced a 20 year old Profile at almost 1/3 of the cost and functions just as good. Lighting is awesome. Overall excellent purchase.
Took hours to clean adhesive off the surfaces after pulling off the protective plastic. Owners manual says there are rear levelers but there is not. Must go online to retrieve basic installation directions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Pros- Nice looking unit inside and out. Price was a bargain.
Cons - Loud compressor. Plastic ice augur could be prone to breakage. Door misadjusted so difficult to get shelves out.

Ice maker is worthless

Ice maker is horrible. It does not produce much ice, is extremely slow to dispense it, and most of the time cannot even fill a normal sized glass. We have consistent trouble and have had to have it replaced once in the 2.5 months that we’ve had it but the replacement didn’t work either. I hate this refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
