Great refrigerator for the price. Holds the temperature well. Not noisy. Water dispenser works well with occasional post drips, which is expected. Shelving is good and the at this price point it is a great choice.

Counter depth refrigerator and RUNS VERY QUIET!!!!

For the money this is the best deal out there. As we all know, no one makes a TRUE counter depth refrigerator. As far as this model is concerned it is as close as it gets to counter depth. It runs very quiet. We had issues with a new Whirlpool and the compressor was very loud and it was returned, Oh!!! did I say it RUNS VERY QUIET!!!!!

We love our new refrigerator, especially the counter depth one. It gives us a few more inches or room, but it appears to give so much more. The interior is almost as large as our last 16 cu. ft. refrigerator. The interior lights are fabulous, and the fingerprint resistant exterior is beautiful!

Great refrigerator for a great price

Pros: Overall I am happy with my purchase. It’s a great fridge for the price. I had a similar GE for 16 years before it kicked. The did some nice enhancements with the lighting and allowed for more space.
Cons: It seems to run quite often even with the ice maker off, and it is noisy. It’s like a constant low buzzing noise, not sure if others have that same sound. Also, this might be picky but I loved this feature, my old GE water dispenser would pour much faster AND it would tell me how many ounces I was pouring.

Good refrigerator but really loud at times

We love GE products and have had several refrigerators that were great and durable for many years. This one is a good product and it looks nice, but it is extremely loud! We don’t know why, but for no apparent reason, it starts to make a loud roaring noise that can last for at least 15 - 20 minutes numerous and randomly daily. It seems to be coming from the freezer side. We are about to call service now because it is extremely annoying. Other than that, it seems to be a good product at a very great price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
