Love it! We returned another brand because it was so noisy! The GE is significantly more quiet and it is laid well. We are very happy with it so far, but have only had it a few weeks.

Solid Refrigerator & Freezer

So far so good. We are enjoying our new GE Refrigerator. We love the fast water and ice cube dispenser. We also love the lights inside the refrigerator and the freezer. Our last fridge and freezer had limited light. It's smaller than our last fridge, which is better for our kitchen, so it doesn't stick out as far. So far we love it!

Mid level fridge

Haven’t bought a new fridge in a long time. They all seem to be made more cheaply now, shelves to insert in doors are a thinner flimsy plastic. Layout of fridge is good with 3 drawers and freezer is good too. Fridge makes a loud buzzing sound every so often and ice maker is very loud, wouldn’t want to sleep in the same room as the fridge, always has some humming noise. Considering

New Refrigerator

The refrigerator is alot smaller on the inside than it looks from the outside. In order to adjust the shelves on the inside of the refrigerator (not the door shelves), the refrigerator door has to be removed, so make sure everything is where you want it before attaching the doors. When using the ice maker, ice shoots all over the floor, but it does work. It makes good ice and automatically stops the cycle when the ice bucket is full. The temperature on the digital plate on the freezer which keeps track of both the refrigerator and the freezer changes degrees by 1° higher or lower. I absolutely love the look of the refrigerator. It looks classy. The refrigerator is fairly quiet, except when the ice maker is in cycle. It's not extremely loud, but noticeable. The vegetable crisper is really nice; temperature controlled by a bar slider, high and low to lowest, which keeps veggies and fruit fresh.
