We are so happy with our new GE Side by Side Refrigerator. It provides for our every need. The door alert alarm is most helpful. All of the features work great and are extremely easy to use.

Have had the refrigerator replaced within the first week with another, same model. In addition to all of these following issues experienced by both, the first one had a malfunctioning ice crushing mechanism. Ice/water lever consistently has water drip marks after use. Door scrapes on something. Temperature reading preset of 0/37 is not close to actual temperature. There's an ice buildup in freezer around ice spout.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this fridge!!! Replaced my piece of crap Samsung French door with this GE model. More room, sturdy, stylish and most importantly it works!!!! Highly recommend.

Purchase same fridge after 14 years!

This is our second same model GE side by side. After 14 years with the old fridge we purchased a new one. My husband replaced the clear plastic auger in the ice maker after it cracked 3 separate occasions so it was time for a new fridge. This the reason for the 4/5 rating. Magnets work on the front of this model so I will be displaying my grandkids artwork.
