GE stainless steel counter depth refrigerator

I love our new GE stainless steel counter depth refrigerator. It is a definite upgrade from the previous GE refrigerator that was replaced after 14 years. I hope this one will last just as long! Thanks, GE!

Counter depth model really increased my walkway.

So far, so good. It's definitely smaller than my 20yo model, but it's working just right. I love the counter depth. We have a small kitchen and the fridge was always a bottleneck. And I love the color (slate). It goes well with my stainless, but is so much easier to keep clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great refrigerator, very satisfied, first GE

Refridge is working great, just noisy with water, ice dumping and cycling, but that is to be expected. Set temps are staying spot on and the one feature I love is you can turn off the door alarm when loading or cleaning. It has been left open just a crack and the alarm is very handy in such a case. LED lights inside are bright and clear, hopefully won't require changing, ever. After replacing a French door with freezer drawer, I am amazed at the amount of space in the side by side freezer section. The only negative is I can't fit a large size pizza box in without the double wide French Door, but I don't need to be eating large leftover pizza so there is the solution.

Just what we needed

Ice maker works fine, and water is cold out of the water line. There are enough shelves and door compartments which are adjustable, and all see-through. The lighting inside the unit is just right, and there is a light on the water/ice dispenser. I like the side-by-side better to see the items in the freezer better. The counter depth is fine for a smaller family of 2 or 3, and looks better in our kitchen. No problems with freezing in the fridge.

After a short time of usage, it is good, and as expected. We hope it holds up for the test of time. Drawers vs bins in the freezer would be an improvement.
