It's new, so not a lot of experience. The two lower shelves in the door are way too narrow to be very useful.

The LED lighting is very nice!

This GE frig replaces a Frigidaire of the same size. However, the space inside is less, which puzzles me. If the frig door is closed with more than the slightest force, the freezer door opens a crack. Sometimes it's not easy to regulate the speed of the door closing when you've removed food and have your hands full. We like that the water dispensed is cold, this was not the case with the Frigidaire.

Nice fridge. Looks good. Lighting is great inside. Cools evenly. Counter depth so it’s kinda small. Shelves are arrayed well. Was REALLY loud until I raised the front of the fridge. Compressor is kinda loud. Overall would buy the fridge again.

Good refrigerator poor quality shelves

Function seems to be good at 5 month mark. Loses one star for the quality of door shelves. Made of a plastic that gets fragile in the cold, like say in a refrigerator, and then cracks and splinters. At this point I have had to replace two shelves and another is cracking at the side mounting area. This is without overloading or abuse of the shelves. Previous refrigerator shelves were made of a more pliable plastic and lasted 15yr with no cracks.

Bought this to replace a former GE kitchen fridge that stopped working after 8 years. Unfortunately, appliance life is way to short and price to fix are about the same as getting a new one. We have only had this for two weeks. It is much noisier than last and ice maker does not produce enough ice. Bin has never been filled up. I assume this one is shorter than the last in order for GE to save money on materials to make the fridge. Again, unfortunate, because the cabinet around the fridge was a standard size, or at least that is what we thought when the cabinets were purchased. With the new fridge we now have a gap. No other height options in our price range.

Overall Im happy just a couple of flaws

1. The ice dispenser is not consistent and ice has a hard time getting into wide mouth water bottles. So we keep a container under the ice dispenser to transfer the ice.
2. This unit runs loud

Nice fridge

I like it! It’s stylish, counter depth but plenty of space inside. It’s quiet. Ice maker works great. We always had issues with the ice maker on our old Kenmore. The handles are not finger proof resistant. The doors are slightly off center which kind of drives me nuts. I saw that on some other reviews, too. Good fridge so far!
