The product is good because in our last fridge, my son kept opening all the doors on the fridge and on this fridge he only is able to open one. That’s why this product is good.

new fridge

It's plain loud. It rattles and makes a lot more noise then the old one. After six months I changed the water filter and within 4 days it shut down the water dispenser system with a system leak code. I found no leak and replaced the filter and the system rebooted right away. i found that the high end filter has a chip in it that monitors the water system and shut it down when a leak is detected. Since there was no leak anywhere in the system an internet search revealed that the chip can malfuntion. I replaced the filter and it rebooted right away. Moral of the story is buy the cheaper filter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too loud, door handles not aligned

It is much louder than usual. The door handles on this dude by side are not aligned equally (one is higher than the other!). So far it is working fine and has a neat inside compartment design.

No Ice, but so far so good

Happy with the product. Didn't ship with water filter bypass plug, been making ice for 2 weeks. 3 calls to GE CARES, no bypass plug. Not good.
