Disappointing

I have waited for a long time for a real refrigerator not a second hand one. so I was so excited to get my new GE Frig. But for three weeks my milk has been going bad. I had a GE repair person out to look at my new GE Microwave that has an issue with the metal screen falling out so I asked him why the milk was going bad. He said that the top shelf is the warmest area in the refrigerator and the coldest one is the bottom drawer. Thats because the fan is not set up to cool the top shelf. Unfortunately the top shelf is the tallest spot in the refrigerator and the place most people keep tall milk or other types of things. At this point I have to say, I am very disappointed in this frig because the one thing its supposed to do it doesnt do, cool the food through the unit.

Side by Side Refrigerator

We replaced our built in refrigerator with this GE product because it would fit into our built- in space. We also had a side by side previously and liked the arrangement of shelves & drawers. This model met our qualifications. Our only qualms with it are the small baskets in the freezer section rather than drawers, and it only comes with 3 shelves in refrigerator. section.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for price, you get what you pay for

On time delivery, delivery guys were great. Fridge does what it’s supposed to, just wish the ice maker worked. 2 months after delivery ice maker died. Not very happy because now I’m supposed to wait for service. The way I see it, why it replace the fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DEFECTIVE ICE MAKER DESIGN

Ice cubes and crushed ice falls into the freezer shelf under the ice maker when dispensing ice from the door.
