Always making a humming noise. Water dispenser drips. And sometimes I hear sizzling noise from the back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The normal operation of your refrigerator will cause some sound or noise. If you are concerned about a sound or noise, you can check the following to determine if it is a normal sound or an unusual sound: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=15901
It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water. This is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip. If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, service may be necessary.
We recommend scheduling an appointment with our factory service and repair team by calling 1-800-432-2737 Monday – Friday: 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. ET and Sunday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. ET, or by visiting https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm

Very nice refrigerator

After trying 2 other competing brand refrigerators that didn’t work well at all and we had to return, getting this GE fridge was like a breath of fresh air. It’s quiet, so bright inside-every shelf is lit nicely and ice maker works great. We would recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking to have the right one the first time.

Perfect fridge/freezer. Nice shelving that you can customize to the placement you like, and shelves are spacious without being too deep to see in the back. Easy to change water filter - just be sure to run a good amount of water through after changing out before drinking - maybe 5L or more. The ice/water dispenser lever has a good depth - vs other fridges where it can be too shallow - and it can fit a very large glass standing upright. Never had any issues with it for the 3+ years we’ve had it.
