Great features for our space

We had a certain size restriction and this model & brand was the ONLY one that met those needs and also what we wanted in our new refrigerator. We replaced a 25 yr old refrigerator with this GE model
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door doesn't align

Door doesn't align well, so very disappointing for the price paid, otherwise we like it.

Love this fridge EXCEPT water takes forever

Bought this fridge because it was closest to our old fridge (that lasted 25 years!) and one of the least expensive options that fit the area. My appliance repair person said appliances don't last more than 5-8 years, so go with less fancy and less options that can break. I've also been told to never get a water dispenser on the outside because they always break - but my whole family loves the water/ice dispenser and uses it all day long!
I love the brightness inside the fridge - can see everything SO much better. My only complaint is that the water still takes forever to fill a tall glass (52 seconds!).

Nice Fridge!

With just two of us, this GE Refrigerator is perfect! Not overly big with a nice size Freezer and has great lighting on both sides. The external water features coupled with the Water Filter is a Major Plus.
On the Fridge side, adjustable shelves with the Crisper drawer and Bright Lighting along with tons of Room was exactly what we were looking for.

Ice maker

Ice maker does not have a sensor or switch for the unit to stop making ice. Bucket over fills.

Good side by side refrigerator.

This refrigerator was purchased to replace a French Door type that had ongoing trouble with the ice maker. We are pleased with the features on this unit, and the ice maker works well. The shelves in the freezer cannot be moved for variable spacing, but this is not a serious issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
