We love our new GE fridge

Our new GE fridge is quite, keeps our food cool, and the items in the freezer, frozen. A bonus is the water on the front and the ice maker. Overall, 5 stars!

Pretty nice

No trouble after couple of months. When I bend down to the bottom tray of frig sometimes the edge of the handle catches my hair and pulls out a stand or 2. Getting used to the side by side. I had a old fashioned frig where the frig on the bottom just had one door I prefer that -seems like I have less room now, but maybe I just have to get used to this set up. Nothing fancy which is what I wanted. Hopefully that means less to go wrong.

The fridge is awesome and works great for a family; but the Stainless Steel is totally different than the other appliances in the kitchen.

This refrigerator has a fingerprint resistant finish on it. GE Appliances has designed this fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish to blend with non-fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The color and tone of our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel has very good color harmony with other products. However, the finish does have a more rich satin finish than traditional stainless, so it is slightly less reflective.

Great look, functionality, and storage! Interior lighting is plentiful, and how the lights gradually get bright is awesome (don't blind you at night as soon as you open the door). Exterior controls are easy to use, and changing settings is a breeze.

Not as much space as our old Kenmore side by side, counter depth. All the weird noises, etc., it says are 'normal'. Calling for someone to adjust the doors as they literally squeak when we open and close them. From across the room it looks as if the doors are dented in...a strange phenomenon with their 'stainless steel'.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Roomy New Side by Side

We really enjoy the space, very well lit, Humidity drawer and water/ice dispenser in this unit. Love the add’l small shelf above the ice maker we use it for our 2 ice cremes! Would be absolute perfection if GE went back to 4 freezer “baskets” instead of 2 plus 2 flat glass “shelves” in their units. But all in all we love our new Counter Depth Side by Side. It replaced a 10 yr old GE Profile side by side.
