The refrigerator is to small and right out of the box one of the shelves is broken. Unable to assemble because of broken shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I think I will like this attractive refrigerator. It isn’t large, so it wouldn’t probably be big enough for a family of more than 3, but it will be perfect for me. I just got it today, so I can’t tell you how well the ice maker, etc. function. It is good counter depth

After searching many fridges I found that so many are made by the same manufacturers with the same problems. This GE is unique having movable shelving and a compact but large ice maker. Even though it is counter depth it does not seem any smaller that the non counter depth it replaced. Great lighting and easy access to the water filter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this fridge

We were thrilled to update our fridge to this one. After lots of research we wanted to go with a brand that had great quality and very little to no problems. We have had this for 2 years for our family of 6 and it's still working great! We love the ice maker and water dispenser on the outside. Makes it easy with a large family for our kids to get their own water. Also love that the fridge/freezer will beep at you if the door is open to long. (Little kids)

Great lighting, setting temperature is easy, nice to be able to monitor exact temperatures of fridge and freezer, only small annoyance is catching the last drop/drip from the water dispenser. For my space situation, GE's doors work best because the hinges are designed so the outside edge of the door does not swing out past the plane of side of the fridge, ie the door can open within a smaller space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brand new, only had the fridge for 5 days. Water in dripping from the dispenser when not in use. Quick search online shows that this is a problem. Will be contacting Ge for a solution.

It is not unusual to see a few drops of water dripping from the dispenser after having dispensed water, and this is caused by pressure on the water line and changes in temperature causing some condensation to form and drip.
If water continues to drip long after the glass has been removed, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling a service appointment for one of our technicians to assess your unit.
