My kitchen is very small and this refrigerator fitted perfectly.
The water/Ice dispenser is a big plus… no more trips to the bottle water store.

This is my second review of this fridge. Have had it a little over a year now. Knew going in that this fridge was kind of small but other issues are now known. Love the looks and outside size of this fridge but it lacks efficiency on what it is for. Refrigeration. Seems to either freeze items or not keep them cold enough. The problem is rhe enclosed drawers, they are always several degrees warmer than the rest of the fridge. If the Interior of the fridge is 34 the bottom tray may be 41 degrees. If you turn the temp cold enough to keep meat in a drawer you may freeze other items in the fridge, especially near the back of the fridge. No drawer in this unit is designed for meat storage. No outlet or passageway to the freezer is built into any of the drawers to keep one colder than the rest of the fridge.
Otherwise this has been a decent unit. Freezer is smallish but the ice maker and water dispenser work well. The unit is relatively quiet. Probably wouldn't buy this model again due to design of meat tray and overall size. Don't hate it but have to watch what we keep in the trays.

The material is not stainless!

Spent surplus’s dollars for a stainless door refrigerator that is only stainless in color. GE is misrepresenting this appliance as something it is not. I bought this refrigerator to replace another and color coordinate my kitchen. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of this appliance and what I had to pay for an imitation.

Hello- We can understand your concern when a new appliance doesn't meet your expectations. This is a Fingerprint Resistant Stainless that has a clear coat to help make it fingerprint resistant. GE Appliances has designed this fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish to blend with non-fingerprint resistant stainless steel. The color and tone of our Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel has very good color harmony with other products. The finish does have a more rich satin finish than traditional stainless, so it is slightly less reflective.
To clean your new refrigerator we recommend using a solution of mild soap and warm water with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber cloth. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth or microfiber towel to avoid streaking or water spotting.

Just got this yesterday. The refrigerator itself is nice and is what we wanted but it's louder then any fridge we've owned. When it's cooling and the compressor is running it seems louder then which should be normal.
