Nice Fridge!

So far, so good! I had a 25 year old fridge that finally gave out, so I researched and found this item to be highly rated. It has bright lights to see everything, and the fridge has ample space, but the freezer is smaller than my old one.

After having to downsize our fridge to get it in the door, we have loved our new fridge. The counter depth makes it so much more spacious in our tiny kitchen and there’s still room for everything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This GE side by side refrigerator replaces a 3 year old refrigerator from another manufacturer that stopped keeping our food cold. If this GE can keep our food cold I will be happy. Here are some initial impressions:
Very well packaged from the factory and arrived in perfect condition.
I like the third drawer for deli items. It makes up for the smallish shelves.
The ice maker and water dispenser works exactly as you would hope.
This refrigerator was pretty noisy for the first 24 hours, but as since been reasonably quiet. No complaints there.
The finish on the stainless steel refrigerator really is remarkable. Muuuuch better than my last stainless steel refrigerator.
3 weeks in, I’m satisfied and hopeful this will be a lasting refrigerator.

Your GE Appliances refrigerator has a patented leak-detect technology that offers protection against the risk of several potentially costly failure modes. If a leak is detected, the RFID component communicates with the refrigerator and shuts the water supply off, which other replacement filters are not capable of doing. We also offer a bypass plug that can be used in place of the filter if you prefer to use an external filtration system or not filter your water.
