We bought 2 new GE refrigerators, they are different and we like them both for different reasons. I would like GE to have the same water filters for both refrigerators. I was disappointed they were different

Perfect Except for Filter Issue

I love my new refrigerator except for an annoying filter issue that keeps popping up. The filter will show an error code every so often and the only way I found to clear it is to loosen the filter and then retighten it. I'm not sure if it's a defective filter or whether there's a quirk in the electronics, but it is annoying since the error code blocks the water and ice dispensers from working. I talked to a GE rep who volunteered to send a new filter, but who was not able to offer any other advice on why this was happening. Otherwise, I would have given this refrigerator 5 stars. It's fits beautifully into my kitchen and I've had no other issues. It replaces a 23 year-old GE refrigerator whose auto defrost quit working. My stove and dishwasher are also GE. They've all worked well from day one with no problems whatsoever.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We sent back two other non-GE models but went back to GE since we had such good luck with our last one. This one looks great and has all the features we wanted. The quality looks better than other models we looked at and so far working like a charm.

The shelves and drawers in this fridge are sturdy. Our previous fridge by a different manufacturer wasn’t even close to this quality.
