Small freezer but otherwise ok

I got this fridge because I needed a counter depth - I purchased GE to match my other appliances. The fridge and freezer work fine but the freezer is really small. I haven't had a working ice maker since day one...the solenoid for the ice maker was busted...it's being repaired after part comes in, but the whole thing has been disappointing...especially at this price point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AWFUL

I have had this refrigerator for 3 days and I already hate it. It is very loud, and the most annoying thing is that when you use the crushed ice from the door dispenser, not only does crushed ice come out from the dispenser, but it also dispenses inside the freezer as well, all over the shelves and into the shelves on the door. Makes a HUGE mess inside the freezer. AWFUL
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice lighting

I bought this for the ice maker and the double doors. The ice maker has a problem going back and forth between crushed ice and ice cubes. You have to push and hold the button down for it to switch. The freezer has a part in the back that likes to vibrate sounding like the motor I have to hit it to make it stop making noise.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just purchased my GE side-by-side refrigerator yesterday, so I really can't give a review on it just yet. But the one is replacing was a GE product as well and it lasted for over 13+years.
