Keeps food cold and frozen

Like the interior space. It takes up a little less floor space than our old one. We do not like the ice and water dispenser. The cubed or crushed ice goes all over the place even with different size glasses. The water nozzle seems to be pointed to far forward. It does not shoot straight down. So far we like the screw type ice dispenser as we get the ice very quickly compared to the old one. We got this just before the holidays and are going to call for service after the first of the year regarding the dispenser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Roomy, yet counter depth!

Efficient, easy to keep clean. Only problem is it kept rolling forward everytime we opened the doors. Installers said that rollers could not be locked!?

We have had a GE refrigerator for several years and just moved into a new home. Went with a different model and love it so far! Great space. Great lighting. Quiet for the most part. Sturdy and solid. Perfect for my wife and I!

Not what expected

I'm sorry to say that I am not impressed with what I see so far. Don't get me wrong, I love the way the refrigerator looks, but right out of the box I see the quality of this refrigerator compared to the 28 yr old GE Profile I just took to the basement. The doors aren't flush. I don't know if they can be adjusted or not. I do like that it's quieter than the old one and the slate finish does not show fingerprints. I will wait and see how it stands the test of time and usage.

And if your doors aren't sealing well, you may want to check and make sure that you're closing the doors fully, that nothing is stopping them from shutting all the way, and that your refrigerator is properly leveled. Purchased this model 6 months ago. We have found the appliance to be very noisy. Seems to run most of the time, sometimes louder than others. When making ice, the machine makes a clicking sound and when the ice drops into the bin you can hear it all over the house. VERY DISAPOINTED! We would not porches this model again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear about the disappointments that you've had with your new model, we'd like to help as best we can.
We don't rate our refrigerators or freezers in decibels so we're not able to provide a rating while they're running; we're sorry about that. However, for refrigerators and freezers to maintain the proper temperature, the compressor will run much of the time. Refrigerators and freezers have compressors that are designed to run 80% to 90% of the time. This makes them more energy efficient because the greatest amount of energy is used when the compressor cycles on as opposed to when the compressor is actually running. A hum or click can be heard when the icemaker fills with water. This sound may be heard once or multiple times. You will also hear a loud noise when ice is dropped from the icemaker into the bucket. Both of these are normal.
