So far no issues. All other appliances in kitchen are GE. Have had no issues with them.

Good Refridgerator

It is bright inside the fridge portion. There's a squeaky noise when opening the doors. The ice maker makes a lot of noise as well. It doesn't make a lot of ice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate you taking time to rate your refrigerator. We're sorry to know that your doors squeak and your ice maker is noisy and doesn't make much ice. We know how aggravating that can be. The quickest and cleanest way to eliminate the squeaking of a refrigerator door is to lubricate the top and bottom hinges with the below recommended oils, then work the door back and forth until the noise goes away.
Paraffin wax (not candle wax) - can also be used on the door gaskets
Petroleum jelly - recommended for hinges, door gaskets and Fresh Food drawers/bins (including rollers)
Mineral oil - general use anywhere, can be washed off

Ice maker stopped working right after install

Took it home, installed it , worked fine for 2 weeks, then the ice maker started making some noise, knocking sounds, then after investigating and googling and trying everything possible to make it work I finally called GE tech support, they are supposed to service it next week, will update review at later time.

It truly doesn’t show fingerprints or smudges. Has lots of cool features and shelf options. Very quiet and the touch pad is easy to use and program.

Quiet, well lit, excellent ice maker

Replacement for a 7 year old LG that died (can't get parts; a reason to buy domestic). Initially purchased a Whirlpool that was less expensive, but it became apparent why. Smaller ice reservoir and very noisy, so we returned it and bought this fridge. Very happy with it's performance so far.

Nice size, clean look

This is a counter depth side by side. We like the large ice bin. Shelves pull out in both refrigerator and freezer. Ther is ample door storage. We got this as a second fridge. Has deli drawer and vege drawers. Very nice fridge. Good lighting. Attractive.
