Great size for the two of us. The stainless steel finish is finger proof, it is quiet, doesn’t run all the time, and ice cube amount is great.

This fridge holds everything our old fridge did. The counter depth really opens up our kitchen. The lights are very bright inside and love the build in water filter. Highly recommend this fridge.

Great features with lots of space & options!

For starters, it's stays at the selected set temperature and the temperature is accurate. Tons of space with lots of different shelf level options so you never have to worry something won't fit. It runs quietly which is nice. Love the color option we chose which doesn't show all the fingerprints. We've had no issues at all. I don't have any complaints. GE is the way to go!

Slow water at dispenser and a short in a connector that controls the power to the unit. Service will be called. New unit...yikes.

Sleek Look!

My husband and I always had a GE side-by-side refrigerator. It went after 15 years. We replaced it with another GE side-by-side as we were so pleased with our first one. We always buy stainless steel to match our other appliances. The new one has a more sleek and modern look. With just the two of us in our household the size is perfect. It holds quite a bit. The lighting inside is especially nice and bright and the stainless steel shows

Excellent but NOT Outstanding - see why

The fridge would be outstanding if the freezer had all baskets as opposed to two baskets and two shelves. We previously had a GE Profile; it had all baskets (slide out) on the freezer side. That was SO MUCH BETTER! The freezer should have all slide-out baskets, it makes a big difference.

It groans, it whines, it makes a high-pitched squeal and there seems to be some motor always running and making a noise. Not only can I hear it in the kitchen but also around the corner in the family room and, worst of all, through the wall in my bedroom. It is loud enough that I cannot sleep. I have never had a refrigerator as loud as this one is.
In addition to noise, it has other flaws. The doors are not flush because the freezer door does not close as tightly as the refrigerator door so it sticks out more.
When the refrigerator door is being closed it causes the freezer door to open slightly and then close very gently. This is usually not a problem but if there is anything in the freezer that contacts the door, the freezer door does not have enough force to close all the way. However, it is not open far enough for the alarm to sound. When putting things in the freezer, the freezer door has enough momentum to close just not when the refrigerator door is causing it to open. So now when I put items in the freezer, I close the freezer door and then open the refrigerator door to make sure that the freezer will then close again tightly.
The icemaker overflows the ice bin with ice so that the only way to take out the bin is to also take out the shelf that is above it.
When removing shelves in the refrigerator, they rub on the gasket around the door. The top shelf support should be closer to the top. Even my tallest containers leave several inches of unusable space above them. None of the drawers can be repositioned.
On a positive note, the refrigerator is attractive and seems to keep everything appropriately cold.
