Exactly what we needed

We needed a refrigerator that fit the space in our kitchen. Measurements were exact, nice counter depth, fingerprint resistance stainless. Inside and freezer are perfect size.

Honestly there is nothing fancy about this fridge. Our fridge broke and we needed a new one ASAP. Had we had more time to research and look in store we most likely would have chosen another. I like the GE name so maybe we would have gotten a different GE. First, the salesman pushed me into getting the stainless steel even though I asked for the gunmetal grey, he claimed the stainless steel is smudge proof, that is not true! Finger prints very much do show up. Second, the bottom veggie/fruit drawer is half the size of the upper one so there isn’t much room to store the produce. Third, the opening for ice/water is small, oversized cups, such as a yeti cannot fit in there, you have to tilt it. Our first day after getting it the ice maker got jammed, it was a stray ice cube that got stuck in between the blades, but wouldn’t the blade have enough space in between to accommodate the ice w/o jamming it? All in all I’m glad to have a Fridge but my next purchase will be better planned out

While the stainless steel does show fingerprints, it can be easily cleaned using mild soap (dish soap) and water, then rinsed with clear water and dried with a soft cloth. Based on the reviews and in-store viewing, we bought this online with delivery and pickup. Service was flawless and uneventful as hoped. Slightly smaller than our old one, but perfect for two people. Runs quiet and makes ice (unlike our old one). Would definitely recommend.

Great replacement for our 23 yr+ GE Profile (counter depth.) Its approx. 1 CF less space still allow ample room in both sides, given our circumstances: general groceries and supplies for three people in the house to cook about 6 main meals a week, heating up and or smaller fast meals, otherwise. We also have a 'commercial' upright 15? CF freezer in our 4-step-down garage.
Somewhat details mentioned because we did consider the French Door style where the huge space in the freezer is suitable for large ham, turkey, etc. We store the chunky food in the deep freezer. Bottles, jars. smaller boxes or packages of 'convenient' food in (both sides) of the new GE.
It has been great. We hope it will follow the legacy of the old Profile. Stainless steel surface is easy to clean. Quiet. Fresh clean water. Vegetable bins are adequate.
