Nice fridge lots of ice maker problems

Ice maker only works when it wants to I have owned it for 9 months and I am waiting for warranty work but they say I'm out of warranty when I'm not and there is no repair company close to me to fix it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful in Slate and it works great!

We replaced our 33 year old GE side-by-side with this beautiful refrigerator, and we love it! We've only had it for 24 days but so far so good. One of the main reasons why we chose this specific model was not just for it's beautiful Slate color and countertop depth, which allows it to fit perfectly into our kitchen cabinetry, but also for it's interior lighting. On both the fresh food and freezer sides there are lights placed toward the front of both compartments from top to bottom, so you can clearly see what's in there. It's relatively quiet and there's plenty of storage space. It maintains temperature, and the icemaker works perfectly, which is a good thing because our old fridge didn't even have an icemaker! Nothing not to love about this thing.
