Works as Advertised with a few flaws

So far, after 2 months of having the unit, it has worked well.
Pros:
-All the features work as advertised (door alarm, water/ice functions, etc.).
-Temperature remains consistent in both the fridge and freezer sections (the most important part!).
-Has a good amount of space for a counter-depth unit.

Cons (most have been covered by others):
-Runs noisier than all my old units. All the following are noisier: Water line when running water to ice maker and when in defrost mode.
-Fridge side bottom shelf was really hard to remove and even scratched the inside of the door due to tight fit, but when moved higher in the unit, was easier to remove.
-Even with the weight of groceries in the unit, if there is any wiggle room in the space it occupies, it moves from side to side, so make sure you have shims or something else to keep it from moving on the wheels.
-Handles are not fingerprint resistant and do require consistent cleaning.

Perfect Basic Refrigerator

This is our 3rd GE refrigerator and it is a perfect basic one. The lighting is great, the shelves adjust easily. The waters comes out without any mess. And it fits perfectly in our kitchen.
