GE appliances have always been my 1st choice. Like freezer baskets, size larger than old freezer. Like led lights ,also finish on doors.

It was the perfect size for the area i wanted it in, no more sticking out in the kitchen and doorway. It is also the only one that had the color and futures I wanted. It is perfect!!!

Nice features but . . . .

We love the side-side function, much more convenient and accessible than the bottom-drawer freezer we had before. I love the smudge-resistant surface on the doors. Three negatives: 1] While the doors are smudge-resistant, the door handles are overly smudge-prone. We have to constantly wipe them down; 2] The ice dispenser deposits small amounts of ice debris onto the top shelf in the freezer; 3] The ice/water dispenser occasionally does not operate, I need to jiggle the ice bin. Jury is still out on this one.

Hello there, we appreciate the recommendation, but we're sorry to see that the ice maker deposits small amounts of debris onto the top shelf of the freezer and that it occasionally doesn't operate. We know this must be frustrating in addition to the handles not being fingerprint resistant, so we'll be sure to take all your comments into consideration.

Working great so far Pretty quiet, nice lighting. Freezer not quite as wide as 25 yr old GE that it replaced, and I miss the freezer baskets, but this 'fridge will be fine.

Perfect Fit

Had this installed about a month ago, we were not sure that this model would fit in our limited space but is is perfect. The refrigerator is working very well, very convenient design, great lighting. It is not noisy like some other reviews mentioned. There were a few issues getting the water and ice maker going but both had to do with rushed installation mistakes. (kink in hose, unplugged icemaker). GE sent someone out twice and after 2 weeks all is well. I recommend that you check to see water dispenser is working before the delivery men leave. Overall it is a really nice product and hopefully will last a long time.
