The only complaint I have is the noise. The fan vibrates to the point of being obnoxious.

The GE refrigerator is well-designed, quiet, and looks great. The icemaker takes less space than in most other refrigerators, the water filter is conveniently placed inside and at eye-level and the interior lighting (LED) is brilliant. We are very pleased.

The stainless steel side by side by GE is absolutely beautiful. It is well made. Solid. The performance has been solid so far. Love the led lighting inside. Bright and well thought out.

Love My New GE Side by Side

I love that it does a actual temp not just a set temp , also I love that it monitors the life of the water filter , and the finger print resistance stainless steel doors are wonderful , the LED inside lightening is superb , I can see every inch inside when I open the doors at night !

I love it that we can see everything at a glance and the refrigerator is designed to hold all shapes and sizes, from gallon of milk to small jars! Choices of ice type are fantastic and makes smoothies and shakes an whiz.

POOR QUALITY

The plastic used on the refrigerator is poor and will break. I have had the refrigerator for over one year so GE (Haier) will not stand behind their product. No wonder this particular product has a warranty of only one year because it is going to break. Plastic started breaking within 3 months of ownership. Not pictured is the first piece of broken plastic which was located in the Ice Dispenser Solenoid Kit occurred 3 months in. The first two attached photos happened at 6 months and the final photo happened at 13 months. Please do not waste your money on this product it will only fail you. Furthermore, it will do nothing but make you frustrated and lose all creditability for the brand which is owned by Haier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
