Great looking and very roomy

The refrigerator section has many selves and it is very roomy with lots of LED lighting. Like the ability to see the actual temperature in the display panel. Lots of good features. You get a lot for your money compared to more expensive brands.

We had a Samsung French door fridge and hated it so looked in to GE fridges. We thought we may not have enough fridge space in a side-by-side compared to the French door, but it has turned out to be great! There are plenty of shelves and bins for organizing items and so far we haven’t run into any space issues. It makes ice quickly and there is always plenty! We recommend it!

Pros: Bright light inside, ice maker works very well, stainless steel is definitely smudge proof.
Cons: The handles are NOT smudge proof at all. We are only two adults in the household. I still have to wipe them several times a day. So annoying!

Fingerprint Resistant?

While I’m overall happy with our purchase I’m disappointed about the fact that the handles, the part of the refrigerator you are supposed to touch, and not fingerprint resistant like the rest of the refrigerator. They are stainless steel but definitely not fingerprint resistant. Very disappointing when that was one of the features high on my list.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
