Except for the triangle, instruments had little sound and are cheaply made. My two and five year old excitedly opened it and quickly walked away. Not typical for either of them with imaginative toys.

Granddaughter likes everything, took the strings out of the end of the clapper so it can actually make some kind of sound now, not sure why they would put those in there in the first place.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun toy, breaks easy?

We love music in our house. My boys love learning new instruments and the different sounds that they make. They work well for a kids toy. However one of the maracas now has a giant crack down the side as well as a few other small cracks throughout. Which is kind of a bummer since they've only had them for a month or so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We, our 2 -year-old grandson, and his parents use these instruments to play along with music. The instruments are colorful and a nice size for a small child, but I am disappointed in the lack of resonance and tone in the cymbals and the triangle, and I would like to hear a looser, louder rattle from the maracas and the tambourine!
